Turkish Folk Dances (TUFOD) South Bay is run by volunteers and it aims to strengthen ties between the Turkish Americans in San Francisco Bay Area and their Turkish heritage via the universal language of music and dance.

VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR

Zafer: Zafer got first introduced to Turkish folk dancing during his times at the “Türk Halk Bilim Topluluğu” (Website, Instagram) at the Middle East Technical University. He has been a member and instructor in various Turkish folk dance clubs in SF Bay Area since 2000, including Arkadash (San Jose), Halay (Monterey) & Yöre (Stanford, Berkeley)
